How To Trust God For Your Ministry Finances

How To Trust God For Your Ministry Finances

If you're in ministry or thinking of starting one, you know how rewarding it can be to help others. However, as you establish your ministry online, it will incur costs to keep it running. If this is you and you're wondering how to trust God with your ministry's finances, here are three things you can do to collaborate with Him:

  1. Write down what you’re believing in God for financially (make a list of your expenses and any running costs you need to operate your ministry online)

  2. Create a vision board (a visual reminder of the resources you need to invest in every year and the direction you see God taking you & your ministry)

  3. Sit with God and come up with a financial plan (address any issues you have concerning your finances/any areas you need faith in and brainstorm income ideas you can generate now (short-term strategy) or in the future (long-term strategy)

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE

LUKE 14:28: For which of you, desiring to build a ministry, does not first sit down (with God) and count the cost, whether you have enough to complete it? (emphases added)

MATTHEW 6:33: The first thing you should do is seek God and what He wants you to do, and then all these things will be provided for you. (emphases added)

HABAKKUK 2:2-3: Write the vision and inscribe it on paper so that it can be read on the go. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It quickens towards its end goal and will not fail. Though it lingers, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay. (emphases added)

Prayer For My Ministry Finances

Lord, as I work towards building this ministry online, I want to thank You for sitting me down and counting the costs needed to support me and my ministry this year. Thank you for inspiring me with income-generating ideas and equipping me with the resources to reach my financial goal, in Jesus' name, Amen.
